House rules
Welcome to our holiday home
Podere San Giuseppe
Dear Guest,
Welcome! We hope you enjoy a relaxing and carefree stay. This guest handbook contains all the practical information and house rules to make your visit as pleasant as possible.
------------------
1. OUR HOUSE RULES
-
We love animals, but unfortunately dogs are not allowed.
-
Smoking is strictly prohibited.
-
Please respect the peace and quiet of the neighborhood; bachelor/bachelorette parties or similar events are not permitted.
2. PRACTICAL INFORMATION FOR A PLEASANT STAY
BBQ: Please leave the BBQ area clean. Watch out for grease and charcoal stains on the floor and countertop.
Vaatwasser: To prevent clogging the pipes, please use dishwashing liquid instead of tablets. Wooden kitchen utensils should not be placed in the dishwasher.
Electricity: Many switches and sockets have on/off buttons. If an appliance isn’t working, the socket may be turned off. In case of a power outage (e.g., during a thunderstorm), check that the fuses are switched on.
Fuse Box: located to the left of the front door
-
Top section = indoor fuses
-
Bottom section = outdoor fuses
Energy: Energy is precious, even in Italy. Please avoid wasting it and turn off the air conditioning when you are not in the house or if windows are open.
Waste: Trash is sorted into containers along the street:
-
Grey lid: general household waste (indifferenziato)
-
Blue lid: paper (carta)
-
Brown lid: organic waste (organico)
-
Green lid: glass, plastic, Tetra Pak (vetro, plastica, tetrapak)
-
In the basement, you’ll find white boxes for sorting waste. Please empty these boxes at the end of your stay.
Music (SONOS): There is a SONOS sound system in the house, controllable via the app on a tablet or smartphone. A separate instruction guide is available.
Safe: A built-in safe is located in the hallway cupboard. See the safe’s manual for instructions.
Towels: Towels are provided for the pool (in the basket).
Please use the brown and green towels only indoors.
Weather: Thunderstorms can be sudden and heavy. Please close the sunshades in the evening and whenever you leave the house.
